Planning your trip to Machangulo Beach Lodge is part of the adventure!
Whether you are driving yourself or using our transfer services, here is everything you need to know to arrive smoothly and stress-free.

Self-Drive to Maputo Marina

• Our scheduled boat transfers to the lodge depart from Maputo Marina.
• Parking: Secure parking is available at the marina for approximately ZAR 85 per vehicle, per day, payable directly to the security guard at the gate.
• Please ensure you arrive well before the scheduled departure time.

Arriving at Maputo Airport

• Upon arrival at Maputo International Airport, our driver will be waiting to meet you at the arrivals area.
• You will enjoy a 15-minute road transfer to the Maputo Marina.
• From there, you will board our scheduled boat transfer for a scenic 70 – 80 minute journey straight to the lodge.

Scheduled Departures:

• From Maputo to the lodge: Usually in the afternoons
• From the lodge to Maputo: Usually in the mornings
• If you are unable to make the scheduled boat, a private boat transfer can be arranged at an additional cost.
• Boat schedules are tide-dependent, so departure times may vary.
• Safety Notice: Boats are not permitted to travel after dark.
• All our transfers are fully insured for your peace of mind.
